(idk if trigger warning, this is just what I think)
There are just three things that I wish everyone could keep track of while roleplaying. THREE. BASIC. THINGS.

No 1 is to know how to type. What is this persons personality and what is their typing quirk? Do they only use small letters? Do they use punctations? What kind of numbers do they mix in with the letters? That is something one should look up before diving into it. Get the quirk and character right. That was no 1.

No 2, is to know your character and know how much they know. Like, I’m not telling you to totally get into it and know every espect of their brain, but don’t make them mention stuff that happens that they weren’t even part of. Also what part in time are you from? One example that my friend mentioned, was that she was on trollmegle as Eridan and this Sollux started going on about stuff like ”omg how could you kill Feferi??”, as if he was still alive. Now that right there wouldn’t make sense if he wasn’t talking to a past Eridan. And the reasons are that, first of all, Sollux was knocked out before he saw Eridan kill Feferi, and second of all, Eridan was killed even before Sollux had woken up (I think, but in any case he didn’t get a chanse to say anything to Eridan). So know where you are in time and DON’T go talking about stuff he/she’s not supposed to know.

Alright so no 3 is the matter of just how much they type. Some characters don’t type more than neccesary while others type non-stop. Like Karkat. That is one of the things that irritates me a lot. I see a lot of Karkats out there barely typing anything and just throwing in words like ”fuck” and ”asshole” and of course, ”fuckass”. GET. IT. RIGHT. He is extremely creative when it comes to insults and almost doesn’t stop typing unless you interupt him.
